Farm Pinwheel Baby Quilt Finished

This top was sewn together sometime last year and has been
waiting to be quilted and finished.

Last week was the time.
I pieced a backing and basted the layers together.

Now it's a finished baby quilt, ready for donation!

This top was made from a package of charm squares
and yardage.  Some of the farm fabrics are so cute!

I am really liking the simple grid quilting these days
and love how it looks with this design.

You can see a few of the farm prints in this photo.

The backing was pieced from fabric in my stash.
The blue is not this dark in person.

Green gingham binding was used to finish it
and it's ready for donation.

I'm linking to Design Wall Monday today.

Happy Quilting!

I adore the colors in this quilt. And I like that the farm prints ‘look’ subtle and not screaming FARM! And I always love pinwheels and straight line quilting. Straight line quilting allows the fabrics and design to show out and not get lost in a busy quilting pattern.

simple grids are what is good for a lot of quilts

The colours and pattern in this quilt team beautifully together. Good choice on the simple grid quilting. A beautiful donation quilt for a sweet baby!

Sweet! Wondering what machine and what stitch length you use for your quilting.
