November 3rd...
Who else is cringing over writing this date?
My list of Christmas gifts to make has not gotten any shorter,
SO....
I need to get a move on things!
This past week found me out of town again
and while I was gone,
my husband picked up FOUR quilts
that my Long Arm Quilter had finished.
WOOHOO!!
I have some binding to do now...
one of my favorite things to do quilt-wise.
(Please excuse the bad lighting and photos this morning.)
I have had this top finished for months and
had not had it quilted.
The feather quilting adds to the traditional bow tie blocks
and reproduction fabrics.
I just love this border print!
This is the quilt I made from recycled men's shirts.
I love this quilt!
And I really like the swirling design my LAQ used.
I see another one of these in my future!
I'll show the other two quilts later this week.

Happy Monday!

It's gorgeous! I didn't notice the bow ties, I see the 4-patch circles. great fabrics for this design.
I love the bow ties, blue is my favourite colour. I have some men's shirts that I got at Goodwill that I plan to use "some day". It took a little while for me to work out how you got the elongated hexagons to be the same. Cool!

I Love both of your quilts. Great color choices.
Love the bow ties! I just sent in my 9 patches for a swap and have been sewing corners on for snowball blocks once in a while. I love the swirls you LAQ use...must write that in my notes. :) Enjoy your binding time!
Love both of these! Just beautiful!
