Design Wall Monday.....

.... Boy...
This past week did not have much
Quilting Time
AT all!!

I did get this top pieced together
and am trying to decide
if I want to make it
larger.

This is the pattern size (60"x60")
BUT
.... do I want to add two more rounds??

There is not a border
on the pattern...
.... maybe that's what I want?
I like the "borderless" look, but....
I'll ponder it for a bit.
:)

Oh, this is so pretty. And it looks like a lot of work. I know that feeling about "do I want it bigger?" I did the same thing with the chicken quilt and finally scrapped my border idea. I think each quilt speaks to us about what it wants, we just have to be quiet and listen. ;-)

Thank you! And I totally agree about the quilts "speaking" to us. Being quiet is not a strength of mine! :D

This is a wonderful scrap quilt. I love the reds. Maybe you can audition some borders and then decide if it needs borders, more rows or leave it as is. Good luck.

So scrappy, you had a lot of fun with this. If you have more reds, make more rounds. The setting is nice without a border.

I think it looks awesome without the border, what a wonderful quilt!!

Thank you! I am leaning toward leaving it as it. I do really like it and love the reds, too.

I did have a lot of fun with this. And it was nice that I didn't make everything so "matchy matchy"... something I tend to do! Scrappy quilts are difficult for me at times. :D

Thank you! I think I will be sending this off to my long arm quilter as is. I am pleased with it.

I really like this pattern/layout. I'd probably make a few more rounds, but leave off the border. I like a bigger quilt to wrap around me and that size would just cover my knees. :) :)

I love this quilt, what a great pattern and your fabrics set it off. Perfect as is!!!

I'm thinking this one will be a wall hanging in a bedroom we are redoing. But, I agree... if it is going to be a "wrap up quilt" .... it needs to cover me!
