My family ended 2020 with two births...
a niece and her husband had their third child
and my daughter and SIL had their first.
This year will bring three more births to my family.
Two nieces are expecting on the same day and they are sisters!
The third niece is due in June.
The sisters are two in a couple of months,
which means I need to keep going on baby quilts!
Today I pulled fabric for the niece who is having a boy.
This baby quilt will be unlike any that I have made before
and I'm excited to be starting it.
Green batiks will be used to make the smaller version of this quilt
pattern by Elizabeth Hartman.
The first six blocks are done.
Many more to go!
Many more to go!
(And the fabrics aren't Kaffe!)
😊
Happy Quilting!

The dinosaur pattern is so cute and it should be wonderful done in batiks. Can't wait to see how it unfolds.
I just love EH patterns, this one is SEW cute! I can't wait to see these dinos come to life. Great fabrics; have fun!
Your dinosaur quilt is going to be adorable! Have fun with your baby quilts in 2021!
I LOVE her patterns! Those are going to make a fabulous baby quilt. These little ones will have so much fun growing up so close in age.
I am so thrilled to catch up on reading blogs and hear about the birth Of your granddaughter! How exciting! Your family is growing leaps and bounds! The dinosaur quilt is so fun! I want to make it just for the fun of it! I am having a new great niece next month but with some of the comments being made I chose to not gift a quilt. Instead I purchased off her registry. I love all your Kaffe scrap quilts too. You have been busy! I have 4 scrappy quilts in progress, I should just stick with one!
