A Sextuple of Hearts

For the past three years
my mom, siblings, in laws and grands
have gotten together for at least a long weekend during the year.
Each year I have made a
Patriotic little quilt to give to my four sibs and mom.

This year we are getting together in August
and I just finished the Patriotic quilts for this year!!

WOOHOO!!

Can I just say that I LOVE this pattern?
It goes together so quickly
and is so much fun to make!

I used my Go! cutter to cut the 2 1/2" squares and the HST's
and started to sew.

A friend is having a baby in a few months
and I think I'm going to make this pattern into a baby quilt.
Can't you just see four hearts, pieced in bright fabrics for a baby?

AND I have another finish for 2015!!

Here are the little quilts I made for the past two years.
I don't have a picture of the first little quilt I made.

Now....
Onto the next project!

Please visit Patchwork Times to see what others have created.

Happy Quilting.

Those are SO cute Ramona!!! And how appropriate to use hearts for a patriotic quilt :) It would be wonderful in a baby quilt - can't wait to see it!

I love those hearts and yes, I can see it as a baby quilt. The more I see of your hearts, the more I want to make one! Your little quilts are neat, especially that last one. It's spectacular!

Those are really cute little quilts. I do love the hearts and agree it would be great as a baby quilt in bright colors, or pastels, or their favorite colors.

Those hearts are so cute. I'm thinking they would make a wonderful summer pillow. How big did they finish out?

Sharon, you are a "no reply commenter" so I couldn't email you back with an answer to your question. The heart quilt finished at 16 1/2" square. It would make a really cute pillow!!

I'd say you've got 6 finishes there even if they are small. They are DONE! Congratulations. The bargello project looks great but also already done. Can't wait to see what you are doing with it!
