The other day I mentioned in my post showing
all of my Disappearing Four Patch quilts
that I had the blocks made for one more.
Well, I also had a small remnant piece of
Joann's version of Minky.
I sewed the blocks together and they fit perfectly with the minky for a backing.
I was determined to use all of the charms in this charm pack,
so some of the background fabrics are different.
These blocks are not my favorites,
but the quilt will make a nice play mat for a little one.
It finished up at around 33" square.
The Joann version of minky didn't fray or shed at all.
That was a nice surprise!
Another pile cleared off of my counter.
I have a few more things to finish and then I can start something new.

I have a knitting finish today, too.
The wild and crazy socks are finished and ready to give to my niece.
I really do like the colors in this yarn.
She is going to love them.
And the fact that they don't match will be a bonus for her.
Another pair of socks was started
and I was shocked when the blue started coming out of the skein.
I don't see blue here at all,
but I like it!
Linking to Patchwork Times and Whoop Whoop today.
Happy Friday!

Nice baby quilt----I've never tried Minkee on the back of a quilt. I've been afraid to---but I love the look. I had to do a double take at the yarn after your question---ALL I see is blue...with the bit of yellow. lol
What a happy cheerful quilt.....I admire how you utilized all those fabric!!!
What a cute, cheerful little baby quilt. Those colors are bright and happy. I love minky on the back of any quilt! Your finished pair of socks look great. Makes me want to go shopping for some new shockingly bright yarn. Good job.
Those fabrics are just so darn fun, great for a little baby quilt. You are just whipping through the WIP's-good for you!
