My mom's birthday is tomorrow
and this little quilt will be her gift.
She downsized to a smaller dining room table
and this should fit it nicely.
The pinwheels in this quilt were made from
scraps I had left over from another quilt.
The bird toile is something I have had for quite some time...
just waiting for the right project.
I didn't do much quilting in the blocks themselves,
because I didn't want to take away from the birds.
This border fabrics is one of my favorites.
I've used it in several quilts
and this is it....there is no more.
I just had enough for this quilt!
The backing and binding were from my stash, too.
This will be wrapped up and ready to give to my mom
tomorrow at her birthday dinner.
Another quilt finished and out of my Hidey Hole!
Woohoo!!
Happy Quilting!

Very nice. A great way to showcase the bird toile.
I love this quilt and so cool to finish it for your mom. My mom loves quilts but I haven't given her anything for awhile due to lack of space on her downsizing but she has asked for tablerunners. You have been doing awesome on your projects! I am finally to the point I will do blog posts again!
Nicely done, I am sure your mom would love it. Happy Birthday to her. This idea could also be used with all those sew, flip and cut off 1/2 sq. triangles!
That's a lovely gift for your mom. Bet she loves it.
