More Amish blocks

Not much sewing was done over the weekend.
I am doing a major overhaul of two rooms in my home,
one being my Hidey Hole.
Things have gotten a little out of hand in here
and it's vexing my spirit.
Time to reorganize.

I did get the next three blocks made for my
"Amish With a Twist II" quilt.

I really enjoy making HST's,
so making these blocks was very relaxing to me.

These are the last three blocks to be made
before the last big set.

Guess what comes next?!?

If you guessed 36 Log Cabin blocks,
you are correct!

I have a lot of cutting to do first!

For a recap,
Here are the blocks I have made.

It's coming together!
Hopefully I will have a finished quilt top by
the end of the month.

Please visit Patchwork Times to see what others are working on today.

Happy Quilting!

I can't imagine how all of this will come together. Looking forward to seeing more.

Lovely blocks and colours too. I really enjoy making HSTs too - the patterns they can be made into seem never ending!

Great blocks. I couldn't stand the suspense any longer so I had to look up the quilt. I can see why you liked it so much. It's stunning, as yours will be too!

The blocks are just beautiful....I can hardly wait to see the layout when you get them all finished. 36 log cabins? That will really set it off! Your solids look so nice...I'll have to re-read the previous posts to see if you mention the brand. I had a few Kona solids and they've spoiled me. When I first started quilting I only worked in Amish style solids....but mostly because "back then" calicoes were horrible---red, yellow, blue, brown or orange little florals. How far we've come! Have a great week and holiday weekend. Blessings....kathy in WV

36 log cabin blocks sounds daunting. I, too, can't wait to see how it all comes together.
