A few weeks ago my mom asked for a
Christmas Tea Cosy.
She's having some of her neighbor friends over for a
Christmas Tea
and wanted a tea cosy to keep the tea warm.
I found a pattern on line and went to work last night.
This was super quick and easy to make!
I used the Crafted Applique method (book found here)
to add "JOY" and the holly leaves.
It's finished and ready to deliver to my mom.
(Please ignore the mess on my counters. It's going to be cleaned today!)
I might have to make one for myself
since I am a tea drinker.
Happy Friday!

This turned out so pretty! Perfect for a party. And BTW - your counters are no messier than most.
So cute. Did you like the "crafted applique" technique? I've been planning to try it, but bought the wrong kind of Mod Podge.
What a cute tea cozy! I wish I was a tea drinker, but I can't seem to like it. I have the book and modge podge but I haven't tried the technique yet. I really want to because I have loved the look of your applique added projects.
Very cute and with time to spare!
That turned out really cute, I love the addition of 'JOY' to it. Your mom will be thrilled.
Is that one of those elves sitting back on your counter. I forget his proper name.
That is fabulous. I am sure it will be the hit of the tea party.
