For some reason I am not one to decorate for fall.
I have a few things people have given to me over the years,
but don't often pull them out.
This year I got the urge to make some
Pumpkin Quilts,
so I found this pattern and started cutting and sewing.
There are four of these wall hangings,
each with four pumpkins.
They are all quilted and have the binding sewn
to the front.
After quilting the first one,
I thought the pumpkins looked more like
orange apples.
I, then, quilted the "Pumpkin Lines" on the inside of each pumpkin.
I've had the border fabric in my stash for a while
and was happy to use it with these.
Hopefully the binding will get stitched down soon
and these will be given to their intended owners.
Happy Quilting!

The pumpkin lines you quilted brought back memories of elementary school art projects! I remember drawing Jack-O-Lantern faces onto construction paper pumpkins, and trying so hard to get the pumpkin lines to line up correctly through the triangle eyes and jaggedy smile!
Very cute. Yes, those lines definitely say "pumpkin"! Perfect fall décor.
These are so cute! A pumpkin quilt like this is on my bucket list. I think they definitely look like pumpkins, especially with the pumpkin lines.
You really need to dig out your fall things that you do have, right now Ramona!!!!! The lines in the pumpkins is what really pulls it together I think, good job!
Your pumpkins are cute. Nice one on the pumpkin lines. I only decorate for fall when I am hosting Thanksgiving. This is not that year, but I will put up a few quilts at least!
That turned out great. Love the oranges
