Once again, we are having a baby explosion here.
The latest aren't family babies,
but friends grandchildren.
I love giving each little new person a quilt.
I have followed Kitchen Table Quilting
for some time and really like a lot of her
quilting designs.
I had not purchased any of her patterns until recently.
The Iris Quilt pattern arrived and I knew I
wanted to make this from my Ombre fabrics.
It turned out nicely, I think.
This went together so quickly,
but it did help that I had already cut
2 1/2" strips from the ombre fabrics.
This is a baby quilt size, which will be 39"x39".
All I need to do now is get up the nerve to trim it!
Do I have any volunteers??
Happy Quilting!

What an interesting design! I had to look at your close-up pictures to figure it out. I, too, tremble when I have to trim something like that.
That's an awesome baby quilt. I love giving baby quilts as gifts too. And when my girls' friends were having babies I made a lot of burp cloths too, using a bamboo fleece on the backs.
This is a fun baby quilt design and I adore the fabrics with all the dots all over them! Greatly colorful for baby’s eyes to enjoy too.
I really like this!
It's going to be such a fun and happy baby quilt!
