Finished socks

The calendar says September
but outside still says summer...
thank goodness!

I am a summer girl!
I know cold weather is coming and if it arrives
as quickly as September did,
it will be here tomorrow. :(

Anyway,
cold weather requires warm socks
and I finished a pair yesterday!

These are some fun socks!
Someone asked if they glow in the dark,
but I haven't tested them yet.  :D
The photo above is the true color of the yarn,
but I love the design and it shows really well in the photo below.
The pattern is "Echo Beach Sock"...a fun pattern to knit.

I started another pair with some yarn my sister gave to me.

This yarn is Ty-Dy Socks Skinny Stripes.
The pattern is called "Overkill-Socks"
and is going quickly.

Please visit Judy at Patchwork Times to see what others are knitting.

Happy Friday!

Those are some great green socks. I remember asking you if they glowed in the dark. Will await your test. If they do, I WILL have to find some of that yarn. I'm a night owl and that would be so cool. The new pair is really snazzy too. How do you find such fun yarns and patterns. I'm still working on my scrappy ones. Too many socks, not enough time.!!

I swear you are gonna drive me to hand knitting again!!! Maybe this winter I will have to give in and get some needles-recommendations for ones you like? Do you do the whole sock on the 4 double pointed ones?

I must take up sock knitting because my favorite pair of socks is hand knit and the Dr. said I can't wear tight top socks because of my achilles issue. Great job and love your yarn and the patterns you chose.

Great socks! I like how the yarn your sister gave you is working up into those chevrons. I almost always make plain socks! Cheers!

Thanks for my sock fix this morning! You've reminded me that it is time to get a new pair of socks on the needles since I finished up my aqua ones. Absolutely LOVE that color!!!!! And the pattern looks fun - gotta go check it out :*)
