Bright Baby Quilt Design Wall

I have a bright Baby quilt ready for quilting this week!

After making the quilt below,
I had some great scraps left.

(The is Broken Chevron... you can purchase the pattern from

While organizing the scraps, they were saying
"Disappearing Four Patch, Disappearing Four Patch!"

I began to cut and sew and cut and sew
and ended up with this Baby quilt.

As I was playing with the blocks,
they ended up in the diagonal rows.
These blocks really work in this design.

I was one block short of the polka dots
so I had to piece a square.
Can you see it?

This one goes into the
"To Be Quilted" pile.
I need to get quilting!!

I love these bright colors...
my favorite color combination.

Visit Patchwork Times to see what others are creating.

Stay warm
and
Quilt on!

How fun. Prefect colors for a baby, so bright and cheerful.

Two for one, and they both look great.

Wonderful quilts. And, yea for you for doing two at the same time. No putting scraps away and no having to drag them out again when you need them. A win-win all around.

Love both of these quilts Ramona! What a great way to use the scraps! I can't spot where you pieced the one square where you were short on fabric.

I love your D4P. I made one for my granddaughter's wedding gift last spring. My blocks are all different colors. I like the colors you chose, and the way you arranged the blocks.

Love your Disappearing 4-Patch. That may just be the answer to my next baby quilt. Great fabric choices.

Both are gorgeous! Love the color combo. Disappearing 4 patch is on my "make one day soon" list!!
So glad you had enough to make that one block! Would never have noticed it was pieced if you didn't point it out!

Nope, you don't see the pieced blocks. Love the colors, makes me think blue skies, green grass and gentle breezes!

This post is proof that great fabric makes a great quilt - or two. They are both gorgeous!
