There is one more finish to end my
2014 quilting adventure.
I had started this quilt a number of months ago
and had it quilted in October, I think!
I finally sewed the binding on yesterday
and finished the hand stitching this afternoon.
This quilt was a kit from one of my LQS's
and will be given away.
I just don't know to whom yet.

The lighting was terrible when I tried to photograph
this quilt, so I have one photo of my daughter holding it up....
And another photo of part of the quilt on my design wall.
These are not my favorite colors to work with,
but I do like this quilt.

It worked up nice.
I think it's gorgeous! It's always nice to have a quilt ready to give when someone needs it. Whoever receives this will be very lucky and thrilled to own it.
I do like the colours! I used similar colours to make a quilt for my father-in-law.
I've been looking at photos of quilts from a few years ago. I made an asymmetric bow tie from a jelly roll. It involved quite a bit of cutting down so I have been thinking of doing a "regular" bow tie like yours. Seeing your quilt has me itching to pull out fabric! It is lovely.

Beautifully done. Brown and blue are one of my favorite color combinations. Congrats on the finish.
Oh that is too pretty not to have it finished! Love it.
This is the first bow tie quilt I have ever liked! Quite nice!!

Fabulous & finished! Good luck getting some more finishes in 2014...
Love it. Pondering a blue and brown quilt as one of my scrap projects for 2015.
I had to really look to see why this bow tie looked different. Finally realized it is two different backgrounds -- it gives a new look because of the strong horizontal lines. I'm jealous of your finish of a finish!
Lovely quilt!
I think it is very pretty and makes me want to do a brown and blue quilt! A very nice twist on the bow tie.
Wow -- this is really lovely. I'd been looking at this block in the last week and thought how fun it was. Seeing it in a finished quilt really makes me want to make one for myself! And it's very aptly named, too! :)
Looks great Ramona! I especially like the close up pictures where we can see all the pretty fabrics. Yay for another finish!
