Design Wall Decisions

I have a decision to make!

The Shot Cottons have arrived to be used as the
Setting Triangles for my
Striped and Dotted quilt.

Which one do I use?
I like them all!!

Here are the three choices...

I am leaning toward the green,
but really like the blue, too.
The burgundy is probably my least favorite of the three.

Hopefully I will be inspired soon so I can get this
top sewn together and off of my
Design Wall!

I have been working on my
Wool Classic Santas
and have added three more to the
"Finished Bin."

The wool gives these such dimension
and is easy to applique.

The last four Santas are prepped
and ready for stitching.

I finished prepping this last one
after I took the photo of the other three.

These five have been finished and are waiting for
the others to join them.

I need to start thinking of the design for the quilt.
The pattern has pieced blocks along with the
Santa blocks, but I'm not wild about that design.
It will be fun to plan the layout.

Please visit Patchwork Times

Happy Quilting!

My vote is for the blue! Blue is my favourite colour.
Those Santas are wonderful. I keep telling myself that I don't need another Christmas quilt. Then I see a beautiful quilt and think I might need one more.

I like the green best because it pops the colors to me. The blue just blends in. Sure is going to be pretty and cheerful..

I'm with Donna, the green...no reason other than I like green.

Have you noticed the similarity between your sweater and your quilt? I know photos don't always reflect true colors, but I don't think the blue relates well to the blues in the blocks. The green really brings out the greens. And the burgundy brings out the burgundies which are not really prevalent in the quilt. My preference is the burgundy, but green works for me, too.

Love your Santas! I vote for the blue shot cotton. To my eyes, or maybe just in this photo, the green is a little harsh.

I'm a big fan of green, and I like it a LOT with this quilt, but I really like the blue too. That doesn't really help you, does it? LOL

I love the dots and stripes together, and that has always been one of my favorite blocks. For what it's worth, the blue was my favorite border color, but reading the other comments, it looks like an even split, so I guess there is no wrong answer. I know you will make the right decision for you!

I like the blue but I am a great fan of blue anyway. Your quilt is beautiful.
