Luna Quilt Finished

Luna has been waiting to be quilted for a little while
and I finally got to it this week.
This quilt is for my latest grand-nephew,
my sister's grandson and her 6th grandchild,

and went together so quickly.
I had wanted to do something with the stack of primary
colored fabrics I've had for a while
and this worked well.

I think this is the third quilt I've made from these fabrics
and there may be enough for one more small one.

This pattern has several different sized quilts to make,
but this one is in between the baby quilt size
and the lap quilt size.

It was quilted with some straight lines
and that's all it needed.

I even pieced the backing.
All of the fabric for this came from my stash,
which I'm pretty pleased about.

It will be washed and given to the little man soon.

Happy Quilting!

All those bright fabric prints are perfect for a child (of any age)! Yay another finish! That design makes me think of looking at a shelf of book at an angle. Not only is straight line quilting my favorite, it’s perfect for the that design. Big bonus that the quilt is totally from your stash.

Sometimes it is amazing how far fabric can be stretched isn't it! Another great finish with some super fun fabric.
