Luna has been waiting to be quilted for a little while
and I finally got to it this week.
This quilt is for my latest grand-nephew,
my sister's grandson and her 6th grandchild,
This pattern in The Luna Quilt by Kitchen Table Quilting
and went together so quickly.
I had wanted to do something with the stack of primary
colored fabrics I've had for a while
and this worked well.
I think this is the third quilt I've made from these fabrics
and there may be enough for one more small one.
This pattern has several different sized quilts to make,
but this one is in between the baby quilt size
and the lap quilt size.
It was quilted with some straight lines
and that's all it needed.
I even pieced the backing.
All of the fabric for this came from my stash,
which I'm pretty pleased about.
It will be washed and given to the little man soon.
All those bright fabric prints are perfect for a child (of any age)! Yay another finish! That design makes me think of looking at a shelf of book at an angle. Not only is straight line quilting my favorite, it’s perfect for the that design. Big bonus that the quilt is totally from your stash.
Another adorable baby quilt!
Perfect way to use those primary fabrics--this is really a lovely finish...nice work hugs, Julierose
Turned out lovely!
Sometimes it is amazing how far fabric can be stretched isn't it! Another great finish with some super fun fabric.
Ramona, this quilt is so happy and wonderful; it will be a treasured keepsake and lovey for years and years to come. :)
Beautiful! I love stash busters
