today!
The neck tie blocks are 1/3 of the way finished.
It seems like it's taking forever to get these blocks done,
but I think it's because I have had limited time in my
Hidey Hole lately.
All is well and I am making progress.
The blocks will not stay in this arrangment.
As I finish them, they are added to my Design Wall.
I thought the cotton shirting I'm using for the sky
was a really dark blue,
Well, I had to order more and it turns out it's black!
The friend for whom I am making this quilt
(they are his ties)
is a very conservative person.
He did have a couple of fun ties, though.
I could not cut these two up to make the
Flying Geese.
They are going in as rectangles.
Onward and upward!

I'm giving you a big ole WOOOHOO! These blocks are fabulous and those big designs are awesome! I wouldn't have cut those up either! You're doing freat!
Three cheers for the tie quilt! Is coming along so nicely. Your solution for those large prints is perfect. Cutting them up would have been a big mistake!

Another WHOOHOO from me too!! I really am liking how this is looking. OMG the giraffe's, I am so glad you didn't cut them up:) I love giraffes(in case you didn't know!).
That giraffe tie is fabulous! I am so glad you are trying to showcase it. You will make it, the blocks are wonderful!
