These last few days I've been plugging away
on my paper piecing project,
determined to finish it and not put it in a box.
One thing with paper piecing...
it's very easy to sew for 5 or 10 minutes and accomplish something.
The sections are all pieced and ready to sew into stars.
It's a very tedious process,
but does give such preciseness to the design.
I do really like the bright colors used in this kit.
These sections will be sewn together and then the
dreaded part begins.
Tearing away the paper.
I think this is why I dislike paper piecing...
it's a mess taking off the paper.
I've gotten this far, though, so I will
keep plugging away on it.
Happy Quilting!

Your star sections are fabulous! Tearing paper is definitely tedious and messy! I can't stand taking it out of seam allowances so I always remove it before sewing my sections together.
I am doing a similar star, just not as many pieces to it. This is going to be awesome!
I really like the dark and light variation in that star. It is going to be gorgeous. Are you ready to do a whole quilt of them now?
That is one luscious stack of PPing! Tear them while watching TV or sitting outside on the patio listening to the chirping birds:) and dream of the next project while doing it.
Your progress is amazing. The EPP method makes it so precise. And I do like your colors. My guild does EPP to make our blocks for our raffle quilt. Using special tweezers made it really easy. However, I have checked 2 different national shows and couldn't find the same one.
I spritz the paper with water and let it sit for a few minutes. It makes the paper much easier to tear off.
