Can I just say that I love this little quilt!
This is one of those quilts that I kept putting off making.
I'm not a huge fan of 30's prints...
I don't want to work with the little blades in the Dresden plates....
What am I going to do with it once it's finished?...
Then the day came....
Out came the fabric and
the mini plate template
and the fun began.
Why did I wait so long to make this cute little quilt?
30's are still far from my favorites,
but they grew on me just a bit.
Thanks, Mom, for the kit and pattern you bought for me.
It's a keeper!!

it is a cute quilt and the fabrics suit it but you can imagine this pattern in other fabrics as well
Adorable! I actually LOVE 30s prints all mixed together like this. They are just perfect for scrappy quilts. This one is so cheerful looking.
Just a beauty...love those scraps of 30's prints..
That is so gorgeous!!love the scrappy sashing better than the all one color you auditioned. It looks like a perfect summer day its so bright and cheery BEAUTIFUL
It's a perfectly happy little quilt. I am like you with the 30s fabrics and yet I LOVE every quilt I see made with them.
I love this quilt so cheery. Can I ask how big the blades are and did you need a special ruler?
Yes you may say you love it, LOL It is so sweet, what size is it? I love 30's but don't often use mine:(
What a fun finish. You have gotten so much done, it's unbelievable!
I am not a big fan of 30's prints either but yours are not the usual pastels. Your quilt looks really nice.
It's adorable! I love making Dresden plates.
Just love it! So fresh and fun. What size are those little dresdens? Oh, my!
I love it too! But I AM a fan of 30's prints. It's cute as can be.
:) It's so funny when that happens, isn't it? I really love it when something I've been balking at ends up grabbing my fancy.
That really did turn out cute. I'm not a fan either, but they do make great baby quilts. Especially with an old pattern.
