This week finds more
on my Design Wall
and I
LOVE them!
They are SO much fun to make!!
Again, I'm more of a
"Controlled" scrappy quilter,
but this is getting the scraps used!
Aren't these blocks so bright and cheery??!!!
I'm thinking of using this simple border
for the quilt. It doesn't need much!
And....
I am slowly making these:
Missouri Crossing blocks...
I really like these, too.
This was a kit from one of my LQS's.
Love the colors.
Visit Patchwork Times for some

Happy Quilting!

I just love your color choices. I too am a controlled scrappy piecer who is trying hard to let go some of the control.
Your color choices are wonderful! I too am a planned scrappy quilter, I can't seem to get myself to blindly sew two pieces together without thinking about the combo first.
Great scrappy blocks, I agree on their bright and happy look! Gorgeous red and green blocks too.
Love your quilts. I didn't know if you realized that you are a "no reply" for comments. Thanks for visiting my blog, but I couldn't respond your email.
Ramona, your quilt is looking lovely! I like the "controlled scrappy" motto! I think it's working for you-because this is going to be gorgeous by the time you are through! :)

In looking at your scrappy blocks I am reminded that with batiks almost any colors play well together. I love them.
Wow, it's looking fabulous. All these colors, just beautiful! And the red-green blocks look great as well. What a contrast though between the 2 projects - makes sewing interesting!
Your challenge blocks are so pretty!
GREAT blocks. I especially like the first ones -- and yes, yes, yes for the little border. It looks great so far.
I love your scrappy challenge blocks. They are such pretty colors. It is so much fun how it looks like a different block depending on the value placement.
I just came over to see your blog since you commented on my blog! I love the blocks you are working on, but my goodness girl, those are heavy duty time-taking blocks. My hats off to you!
