When my mother-in-law died several years ago,
we found A LOT of handkerchiefs.
Some were hers and some were
her Mother-in-laws.
I made wall hangings using these
handkerchiefs for my two daughters,
my sister-in-law, my niece and myself.
Her mother-in-law's name was
ROSE.
There were a number of handkerchiefs with
"R" embroidered on them.
"R" embroidered on them.
Each of us has at least one on our wall hanging.
The handkerchiefs were just beautiful.
Tissues just don't compare.

They were fun to make. I hated to cut the handkerchiefs, but was pleased with the end result. Thanks!
Ramona, I made an Handkerchief square by cutting them at different angles applying them on a back ground square. Some have Tatting that my mother made, some the handkerchief's were made by my mother. I do need however, to put a binding on this project and complete. Jean W.
