What a great pattern. What size are the blocks? Beautiful fabric choices
Very pretty scrap quilt!
What gorgeous fabrics. It looks fantastic. Yay for sewing time too!
Falling more and more in love with Scrappy! Feels good to get so much done doesn't it?
Beautiful! I love this combo of simple blocks that look so intricate!
Lovely quilt. I believe this is the pattern in one of Kim Diehl's book...and the reason I bought the book.
It is a fun pattern to make. The size of the finished blocks is 3" square. Working with the reproduction fabric is new to me, but I do like the colors.
Thanks!
You are correct... this quilt is from Kim Diehl's book "Simple Charm." There are several quilts in this book on my list of quilts to make!
Oh! I love that design. Is it OK if I figure it out and make it?
There is never enough sewing time, is there? I will take all I can get! Thank you for your kind comments.
It does feel good to get things marked off of my list. And I agree with you about Scrappy. It's a look that has grown on me, too.
Thank you! This quilt went together quickly since the blocks are simple. I do like the look.
Absolutely! The pattern is from Kim Diehl's book "Simple Charm." The finished block is 3" square. Enjoy!
I like your choice of fabrics!
Your quilt is gorgeous. This has been on my to-do list for some time. Seeing yours may inspire me to get going on it. How lucky for you to have lots of sewing time this week. Enjoy it!
Thanks! Quilting with the reproduction fabrics is new to me and I am having fun with them!
We do need inspiration at times! This one is going together surprisingly fast... once I started it. :)
snowballs and nine patches look so different when the values are reversed.I think I like it better!
I am pleased with the results. Adding the wool leaves around the border of the quilt is really making the colors pop even more.
