This quilt was finished a few days ago,
but I didn't take the time to take photos of it until today.
The top was finished quite a while ago
and was one of the five I sent to my LAQ before I moved.
I really enjoyed making these blocks.
I can't remember the name of pattern and
have not looked in my boxes of patterns to find it,
but it was a wonderfully mindless quilt to make.
The pattern had all of the blocks sewn together
without sashing,
but it was way too busy for me.
There was nowhere for my eye to rest.
And you know I loved working with my Kaffe scraps!
The deck in my new house isn't as good for taking photos.
It was a super sunny day today, too.
This border fabric really works well with all of the colors in the quilt.
The sashing has tiny yellow polka dots
and the quilting was done with orange thread.

Beautiful finish. We are off again to see the babies.. your house must be coming together as you are finding time to sew
have a great weekend
Adding the sashing was the right choice. It's still full of color but now you can really see the prints better.
What a gloriously beautiful scrap quilt! And congratulations on moving to your new home!
Another beautiful quilt fashioned by your clever hands, Ramona! Love the border fabric!
It’s a bright, colorful, happy quilt finish! I like the colorful cornerstones (?) in the sashing. Your friend should be quite pleased. Especially if she loves a lot of color.
Absolutely lovely! I agree, it needed the sashing. Glad to hear you're getting your sew-jo back.
Wonderful bright scrappy quilt. Your decision to separate blocks with sashing does help them shine. Love it!
So vibrant, but I really like the addition of the polka dot sashing. Your friend will be so happy to have another of your creations.
Es maravillosa, me encanta. BESICOS.
Your quilt is so amazing and makes me smile. I just love the colors and the fabrics that you used. Well done.
It looks fantastic. I agree that the sashing was the perfect addition to the Kaffe fabrics. It will make a lovely gift.
