35 Years Ago Today

It's so hard to believe that 35 years ago today I
married my best friend.
These 35 years have been packed with many good times and
not as many tough times, thank God.
It has passed in a blink of an eye.
The best thing is.... we would both do it all over again.

Our big anniversary outing was going to the grocery store.
Who would have ever thought we would be needing masks
to grocery shop! Never in the 35 years had we thought about this.
We still have each other, though.

And, boy, do we need haircuts!
:D

Be safe and be well!

Congratulations to you both. Such a lovely photo of the two of you at your wedding. I smiled at the photo of the two of you wearing your masks. Who would've thought your anniversary outing would be to a grocery store. How times have changed.

Seriously! Who would have thought? Happy anniversary to both of you

I am so looking forward to getting a haircut too. Things are going to be ugly by the time we all emerge from this.

Love the two pictures of you lovebirds! I was just going back over various posts for ideas, and found this one post. We've been married 46 years & didn't do a thing for our anniversary either. With Covid, we are home about 98% of the time, which is ok with us. I've learned how to cut my hubby's hair & suspect I'll keep doing it with prices the way they are. My hair was waist long and I HAD to cut it as I'm losing it too fast not to. Went to my daughters salon & got it cut to just below my shoulders (not again, WAY too expensive!). Just long enough to be able to put it up if I want to in the heat (with the record number of HOT days, necessary). Between the 15 inches I cut off this time, and the two trims I had previously, I've cut about 23" off my hair in less than 2 years. Between Covid, the fires & the extreme heat, I'm ready for 2020 to be over already! Deb E
