Another Disappearing Four Patch

Some of you know that I really like the
Disappearing Four Patch block.
I like it so much that I've made 6 or 7 quilts using this block.

Well, here is another one!
To me there are certain fabrics that just lend
themselves to this pattern.
Plus,
they are so easy to make!

I bought the fabrics for this quilt while I was
at Missouri Star Quilt Company back in May.

Floral prints are not my favorite,
but I really like this one.
The colors are so fresh and fun.

It's a bit difficult to see,
but the white fabric has different colored pin dots on it.
They work so well with the prints.

This quilt is pin basted and ready for quilting.
Hopefully by the end of next week it will be a finish.

I'm joining Whoop Whoop today.

Happy Quilting!

So bright and cheerful! I have done a disappearing 9 patch in an exchange, but I may have to try the 4 patch version. Love the border fabric!

I am with you, I don't lean toward florals but this one looks great. I guess you just have to pick the right ones:)

Love it - so pretty! This is a pattern that's on my "to do" list. I've done the disappearing 9-patch and hourglass. Now I want to run to my sewing room and play with this one. But maybe after work today!

I have a group of fabrics I won and this pattern would work well for them. I just haven't gotten to it yet! What size of block did you start with? Your quilt top is gorgeous! I love how how bright and fun it is.

Lovely!! I've never tried a disappearing 4 or 9 patch quilt. It's on my list. Not sure my fabrics will look as good as yours, though.

This is fabulous, Ramona, and I adore the wild, happy floral border! Did you pick the border fabric out at the beginning when you were planning this quilt, or did you have all the blocks done when you found the absolute perfect border fabric for this quilt?
