After I finished this quilt the other day,
I sent a photo to my quilting buddies.
One texted back that she thought it looked like candy.
Even though I have never played the game,
the name "Candy Crush" came to me.
This quilt just makes me smile!
I bought a charm pack of Color Works concepts fabrics
and was thinking about what I could make with these
bright, fun fabrics.
Windows! They would make fun windows in the
Cathedral Window design.
The primary solid fabrics were purchased,
along with the polka dot background
and the cutting began.
It takes a while to make this design,
but well worth the effort in my opinion.
Candy Crust is ready for a label and a baby.
:)
We are so fortunate to have such wonderful fabrics with which to play.
No matter what your style is,
there are plenty of beautiful fabrics to use.
Happy Quilting!

Perfect fabric choice. Congrats on finishing so fast.
Such a happy quilt!
That is the perfect name for this colorful quilt.
It is cute, the background reminded me of Skittles when I read your post about candy.
I was not a Candy Crush person either, but I can totally see it! What a great name! I love how fun and bright your quilt is.
WOW!!! Such fun colors and perfect name and it makes me want to make one. Do you have a tutorial on your blog?
have a great weekend

What a visually dramatic way to use the Colorworks Concepts! I never would have thought of putting them into cathedral windows. This is so perky and fun!
WOW!!!!! That looks positively amazing. I LOVE it. You need to do a QAL for all of us.
This is such a great quilt! Bright and fun. It's so nice to see cathedral windows with solid primary colors on the edges. What are those edges called, anyway? It's not really sashing...
You have an eye for color and design. The quilt pattern shows off each of the busy, colorful fabrics. I just love the quilt!
