Knitting Friday

The knitting needles have been clicking again here.
I've been traveling a bit and
knitting is much more portable than quilting!
At least more portable than
the quilting I am doing right now.

I finished the inner sleeve pieces for the sweater I am making
These need to be blocked and then borders will be added to three sides.
I am in the home stretch with this sweater!!
WooHoo!!

On a recent trip to visit my brothers up north,
I need a mindless knitting project,
so another pair of socks was started.

The first one was finished while visiting with a friend last night.

My mom bought me this yarn at
Tuesday Morning last year or the year before...
I don't remember.

It's making a soft, fun pair of socks..
kind of Christmassy!

Please visit Patchwork Times to see what others are knitting.

Happy Friday!!

  1. Wow wee Ramona! I can't even begin to imagine how you knit those sleeve pieces. And if this is a hint of the sweater to come then we are in for a treat!
Very pretty socks! You are so good at this!

  4. Your sweater is going to be a knockout. Love the colors you've included. Those socks look very nice too. Did the yarn do all that wonderful patterning or was there a special stitch set every once in a while that differed from the striping part. They really look neat. Love the colors too.
