How did I end up with so many projects
that have been placed in
Limbo Land?
This latest pile was a Leader/Ender project
that stalled out somewhere along the way.
It is time to get this one finished.
I used my Go! Cutter to cut tumblers from Kaffe fabrics
and my collection of Text fabrics.
These rows are sewn together, for the most part.
There are a few pieces on ends of rows that need to be attached.
I see some like fabrics together, but I'm not sure that I even care at this point.
This isn't one of my favorites,
but maybe it will grow on me.
I found a lot of unusual text fabrics when I was searching for them.
Most of them have been used up in various quilts.
This is what is left.
They will be sewn into additional rows and used in this quilt.
Hopefully I will have another pile finished and out of my Hidey Hole very soon.
Happy Quilting!
Wow, you really do/did have a variety of text prints! They look so much better in that application than a neutral solid.
ReplyDeleteYou are on a roll and doesn't it feel great!! Keep it up:)
ReplyDeleteVery nice. I love all of the text fabrics.
ReplyDeleteI think the project will grow on you. I find that I am my own worst critic.
ReplyDeleteRamona, I love your tumblers. I've got that die, too, but I wasn't terribly excited about it until I saw your quilt coming together. It may be kind of monotonous piecing a one patch, but it really showcases all of those beautiful prints.
ReplyDeleteI remember when you started that quilt. It is busy, but very cool! I love the wide variety of prints.
ReplyDeleteI just bought a GO!Cutter and a few dies...but not the Tumbler yet...do you have the 6.5 inch or the smaller one? I can't tell from the photo if they are large, medium or small. They make a great leader/ender project. I usually do 2 and 4 patches for leader/enders. It's such a great project, Ramona...and really pretty. I'll have to recheck the archives for more about the quilt. Hope you have a great week...
