My latest Disappearing Four Patch is finished
and I'm calling it
"Flower Power".
I really enjoy making the D4P and have made
several quilts with it.
It looks so difficult to make,
but is so easy.
"Flower Power" sure is bright and fun!
Another baby quilt is finished and waiting.
I have no idea if the babies that are on their way are
boys or girls, but I have several girl quilts ready.
Some boy quilts need to be made!
It is so hot and humid here this week....
making it a good week to stay inside and sew.
Onto the next quilt.
:)
Happy Quilting!!
I love "bright and fun". Family members are always critisizing my "bright and fun" quilts. Guess I will only show them to you.
ReplyDeleteI love the effect that the D4P makes. It looks great and will be such a happy quilt for a new little one.
ReplyDeleteD4P is my go-to for a quick quilt that looks like you really slaved over it. Flower Power is the perfect name!
ReplyDeleteLooks great! Babies love bright colors
ReplyDeleteFunny, I have made disappearing 9 patch quilts, but not a whole disappearing 4-patch, except in a group project. I have a stack of fabrics here this pattern would be perfect for. Great job, love the colors!
ReplyDeleteSo bright and happy. I made D4P in Union Blues w/some Richmond Reds thrown in for Ethan's graduation quilt. It turned out stunning also. He's taking it to college in a couple weeks.
