WOOHOO!!
I have my first finish of
2015.
The Disappearing Four Patch Baby Quilt
is quilted and bound.
I kept the quilting simple.
There is enough going on in this little quilt already.
These are my favorite colors!
So bright and cheery on this dreary day.
I used a "cheater" cloth on the back and for the binding.
It's like two quilts in one!
I haven't decided if this quilt will be given to my
church's baby quilt ministry
or if I'll keep it and have on on hand when I need it.
Most likely it will end up at church.
Happy Quilting!!
Pretty! And you're right--it does look really cheery on a dreary day.
ReplyDeleteI love the design how all of the print blocks are lined up on the diagonal, it gives a lot of interest to the quilt.
ReplyDeletefabulous quilt. love the spring colors you used.
ReplyDeleteI love this baby quilt -- especially the cheerful blues and greens you selected. I'm visiting for the first time from Whoop Whoop Friday linky. Also, I love your quote about making the devil say "oh, crap!" :-) Congratulations on a beautiful finished quilt. Whichever baby ends up with it will be fortunate indeed.
ReplyDeleteI thought you had pieced the binding! The quilt looks fabulous. Congratulations on your first finish of the year.
ReplyDeleteHelen
Ramona, whichever you choose, you are going to make some parents and a little one very happy with this bright and cheerful quilt! The backing is a really nice touch. Love the simple quilting you did too! Often, I think that is best.
