This week I was hoping to have a
completed quilt top to show
But...
This Missouri Crossing
is a frustrating block for me
to make.
I don't know if it is me
or the block
but I can't seem to get the pieces where I want them to be.
(It is me!! :D)
Lots of trimming
but they are coming together.
This isn't quite half the blocks for the top.
Slow and steady wins the race.
(I'm not a slow and steady kind of person, but sometimes....)
THEN....

Oh goodness those are gorgeous blocks and the setting is so pretty. Bonus is the adorable toile and the price!!! Certainly a Happy Christmas quilt in progress.

ReplyDeleteJust looking at the overall quilt, I would have thought the "waves" were a sashing rather than through the middle of the block. Nice to be able to see how it goes together. You're doing a great job and the backing fabric -- WOWSA!
