Knitting Needles Friday

This will be the
LAST
Friday knitting post for
2013.
WOW!!

It has been a productive year
of knitting and I have
learned A LOT!
Plus...
it has been a lot of fun!

This week I finished another pair of

These are for me!!

What I am most excited about this week
 is
this little thing
my husband put in my stocking!
This is soooo cool!!

It's called the Knit Kit....
Can you see the stitch counter on the top,
the tape measure from the bottom,
(the white button retracts the tape measure)
the crochet hook coming from the side,
and there is a thread cutter hidden
under the tape measure??!!

THEN....

Inside the back are
scissors,
a tapestry needle,
markers
and the little thingies to put on the end of the needles.

PLUS...

A tool to measure the size of knitting needles.

All in a little compact case!
How cool is that??

Visit Judy at Patchwork Times to see what others
are knitting.

Have a great Friday!

:)

  3. What a thoughtful knit gift from your hubby. I'll have to check one of those out for myself.

What happy lolling gloves. I have been interested in the glove pattern you made for a while and I'm about ready to make a pair. I have made my niece a hat and cowl and I think there is enough yarn left for the gloves. I notice the pattern calls for DK yarn. Is that what you used or did you use sock yarn?

  6. Your reading mitts really came out looking great. Love the pooling effect on them. You sure have a smart hubby. Where on earth did he find such a cute tool for your knitting bag? That is too perfect. Thanks for sharing.
