Design Wall Monday

I'm actually surprised I have
Anything
to show this week.
We are all a little busy, aren't we?

This past week I stepped
WWWWAAAAYYYYY
out of my comfort zone!
And I mean way out!!

I found some 100% cotton
men's shirts,
"deboned" them,
and started making a
Baby Quilt.

This is a pile of "deboned" shirts
waiting to be cut
into squares and then
sewn into HST's.

I thought pinwheels would be something
to calm the craziness.
I just don't know if I like the look.
Sashing will be sewn between the blocks,
so that should help with the craziness, too.

I'll keep working on it and see how things look
after the blocks are sewn together.

Some of them are fine...

We shall see.

Visit Patchwork Times to see what others have on their walls.

Happy Quilting
and
Merry Christmas!!

  4. What beautiful blocks. Though they may not speak to you, they might be just right for someone else. Deboned shirts to make the softest quilts ever.
