My sewing machine is back home and working!
For those who have Bernina sewing machines,
it's best to plug them into a surge protector strip
versus the wall outlet.
It turns out, this is why my machine was malfunctioning!
Once I had my machine back,
I was able to finish quilting this baby quilt for donation.
This is "The Irene Quilt" by Kitchen Table Quilting
and is a super fast pattern to make.
A while ago I had picked up a jelly roll of "Willow" (I think)
and was able to make two baby quilts from this jelly roll.
The quilt is finished and has been passed on for donation.
I hope to make many more quilts for donation
I hope to make many more quilts for donation
in the coming year.
My Cricut machine has been busy, too!
These shirts are ready for my littles to wear for our
annual cookie baking day this weekend.
My littlest little won't be baking with us,
but she can still get a new shirt.
This child has some of the chunkiest thighs I've seen.
As my son-in-law says.... her thighs have thighs!
Happy Quilting!
Ooh, I need to add that pattern to my list! You do such creative things for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteI'll have to check out that quilt pattern, glad you got your sewing machine back finally working! Are those iron on vinyl you made with your cricut? I have not tried doing that yet, but would love to! Your littlest with her chunky thighs makes me think of our son when he was a baby/toddler, what a chunk but then he thinned way down as he grew.
ReplyDeleteA sweet quilt finish! What fun to make Tshirts for you Christmas baking day. I've been thinking about hosting a baking day with my family next week.
ReplyDeletePretty finish! I wonder if that's what happened to my Bernina? It just quit working suddenly the other day.
ReplyDeleteWhat a soothing palette for a baby quilt. Someone will love it. Isn't the Cricut the best fun?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt and fun t shirts,my little girls always put on aprons that their daddy and uncle used. I had that problem with my Bernina too my sewing room was as far away from the breaker box as possible. It worked fine if I was closer to the box so I bought a surge protector with battery back up to keep the electric flow steady. Who would have thought some outlets get more juice than others Merry Christmas
ReplyDeleteSo glad your machine is back and working for you and that it was an easy fix! Tell me more about how you made those cookie baking t-shirts with your Cricut machine. Does it make iron on transfers or…. Appliqué something or other? They look so professional!
