It's been a little busy here lately,
but I have very little to show for the busyness!
Don't you hate that??
No Christmas decorations are up,
no baking has been done,
the Christmas cards are still in the box
and only a little sewing has been done.
Hopefully by the end of the week,
it will have begun to look a lot like Christmas here.
I did manage to get the rest of the blocks
sewn together on this quilt.
I made a HUGE error when sewing these pieces together into the blocks,
but after much ripping and restitching,
it's all together!
The fabrics for this quilt are from Minick and Simpson...
Paisley and Polka Dots.
The next step for this quilt is deciding what to do for borders.
Do I keep it simple or go a little fancy?
Hmmm...
Happy Quilting!!
Such a warm cozy look to this one, I love how it sets the pinwheels off. My house is not all decorated yet either! Just a small start, but I hope this weekend I will get lots done.
ReplyDeleteLook at all those points! It looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteI love the pinwheels in this layout. Very cute. Don't stress about the decorating or the baking. Do what you can and let the rest go. That's my mantra for surviving the holiday season. And I discovered that we enjoyed Christmas just as much without that added stress.
ReplyDeletePretty! And I feel your border issue. Maybe several using the same fabrics, or repeat one or two of the elements in the corners. It's going to need some testing, but whatever you choose, it will be lovely.
ReplyDeleteLove this pattern!
ReplyDeleteLove that piece. The pinwheels really make it pop. It is such a busy time of the year.
