This weekend was rather quiet,
allowing me time to get some
overdue machine quilting done.
I have several completed tops
that are patiently waiting to be finished.
This quilt was made with
5" squares of white and
Anna Marie Horner fabrics.
I found the pattern for the
"Pinwheels on Point"
on the Missouri Star Quilt Company site.
I'm not sure what I will do with this one yet.
It's a good size for a baby quilt,
but may be too wild.
Plus it isn't the typical "baby" color palette.
It may end up on a table at some point.
Never the less, I love it.
It reminds me of Ribbon Candy,
Happy Quilting!!
Actually, babies see contrast, not color, so your quilt would be very interesting for them.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Libby. It is probably a perfect baby quilt. It's a beautiful quilt.

I just love the way the pinwheels go with the snowballs to make candy! It totally looks like candies! Great as if I don't have enough projects now I want to make this!
ReplyDeleteAnd Missouri patterns are usually fast and fun. LeeAnna
ps a baby will like it but those new moms are so design savvy now, she might only want gray and gray blue for instance! Find a cool mommy to give it to as a baby would like it!
It does look like Ribbon Candy.... Lovely quilt.
ReplyDeleteActually I think it's perfect for a baby quilt. Nice bright colors - love it!
ReplyDeleteWild is good ...
