So....
Once again, I was supposed to be cleaning my
"Hidey Hole"
and just HAD to stop to play with some scraps!
(I did get all of my Christmas stuff put away
and cleaned the house after that! Just not my sewing room.)
These are the fabrics I am using in the pattern testing quilt I am making for
Jan at The Colorful Fabriholic.
That top is finished, but won't be revealed until Jan is ready to
publish the pattern.
I need to get it quilted and hope to do that at the end of the week.
Here is a sneak peak, though.
This pile of scraps just kept saying to me
"Disappearing Four Patch, Disappearing Four Patch."
What was I to do, but start cutting.
I have my new "Go Cutter," so I got that out and began.
So far, so good!
These blocks go together so quickly!
A pile ready to press and trim.
I guess I am cleaning... cleaning out some of my scraps!!
Happy Tuesday
and
Happy Quilting!
Ramona, I love those colors in both quilts! I am going to do a disappearing 9 patch today and using 5" sqs. what size did you use for your D4P?
ReplyDeleteYes, using up scraps counts as cleaning in my book. D4P and D9P are such fun quilts for using miscellaneous fabrics.
ReplyDeleteThe colors are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI am feeling a need for the Caribbean after seeing the beautiful colours in your blocks! Preferably at a place with a great beach! Beautiful blocks, cannot wait to see the finished quilt!
ReplyDeleteI love these fabrics. And colors!
ReplyDeleteOHHHH! LOVE those colors!!! Can't wait to see it all finished :-)

I am loving those disappearing none patch blocks in those colors. It will be a beautiful quilt.
ReplyDeleteI've started a disappearing four patch with a quilting group, and they are a bit addictive. I love how they look in your scrap fabnrics. I'll have to check back so I don't miss the reveal of the quilt that created the scraps, too. The sneak peek hints at something fun and pretty.
ReplyDeleteFabulous colors, can't wait to see the revealed quilt. I love the disappearing 4 patch as well. It's a great pattern.
ReplyDeletePretty colors that you used.
ReplyDeleteYour sneak peek looks great! OK to reveal the Broken Chevron top on Friday. Love the D4P blocks - great palette with the additional blues & greens. Cute!
ReplyDeleteYour pretty blocks really are calling for me to also make a disappearing 4 patch!
