I have added some more blocks to my
Design Wall this week.
I usually don't take this long to sew a quilt together,
but I have been making a lot of small items for
my church's bazaar.
It's nice to have this to work on here and there.
The blocks won't stay in this layout.
I'm just putting them up in pairs
so I can sew them into blocks quickly
when I have a few minutes.
The solid fabrics are so rich...
they almost look like suede.
This will continue to grow with little bits of
time here and there.
Please visit Patchwork Times to see what others
have on their Design Walls.
Little progress is better than none. Sounds like you've had plenty of progress sewing for the bazaar, which is a good thing!
ReplyDeleteI'm curious to know if you will keep the centre colours the same so that the boxes show like they do in your current lay out.
ReplyDeleteYou're right the solid colours do look like suede.

Such a nice masculine feel to this and I think a small version would be fabulous for a baby boy quilt.
ReplyDeleteI like it!!!!
