I'm a crocheter...never learned to knit....but we have a couple of ladies in our quilt guild who are impressive knitters, as well. I can't imagine making socks...or gloves...just seems so difficult! As I said...I'm impressed! (p.s.--work on the "Amish with a Twist" is halted for the moment...I took the plunge and bought and downloaded the Sew Together Bag pattern...I working through those directions...but I did find a great step-by-step tutorial for making one online!
