I love it! I can imagine those geese would take a lot of time. They are one of my least favorite quilt parts to sew but they do so much in so many ways.Nancyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12136584654825212359noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3601992465130715997.post-12269765514996261562021-08-26T14:20:57.659-04:002021-08-26T14:20:57.659-04:00I love your project, it turned out so nicely!! Woo...I love your project, it turned out so nicely!! Woo-hoo! I am guilty of stashing away projects in those very same containers! It’s SO/SEW handy! That’s great the project was so near completion that it made for an easy finish. For awhile I was taking too many classes (is there really such a thing, though, shouldn’t we always be learning and trying new things?!), so I had to put projects aside. Or I’d be working on something with no deadline and something with a definite deadline pushed it out of the way. My best suggestion is to try to leave yourself a note where you left off, what step is next, so you don’t waste too much time trying to get started again. I have a UFO list to help encourage me to finish as well. I was surprised myself when I pulled a project out of the box and discovered I was much further along than I had thought! yippee! The end is in sight…once I choose the border fabrics…! Happy stitching!!!Susannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07908343448569901170noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3601992465130715997.post-62865020321087903052021-08-24T12:37:31.026-04:002021-08-24T12:37:31.026-04:00I love the finish! And I am so with you on the putting things away and sometimes in boxes that are partially completed. When you solve the riddle, give us all the magic that helps to complete them maybe even when we start them. So I completely understand stalling out at that point in the process, and of course then there is the Fear Of Ruining It By Quilting It Wrong syndrome that afflicts most of us. Good for you, getting this one to the flimsy stage and ready for quilting!Rebecca Gracehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05891097077543213720noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3601992465130715997.post-21898361598262318662021-08-23T21:07:47.355-04:002021-08-23T21:07:47.355-04:00I love your quilt and the colors! The color tones are pretty and rich looking. Emptying a box and then refilling it is better than just adding another box. At least for me that is.
