 Bubbles and Dots is a finished top!

These fabrics have been so fun!

I'm glad I finally took them out of the cabinet.

 

 

 

I don't know how this one will be quilted,

but I hope to have it finished soon.

Radiant Delivered

 Last week I picked up two quilts from my LAQ

and both are finished!

"Radiant" has been delivered to the new baby girl, too.

 

 

 

 

 

The nursery colors for this baby girl are

Navy and hot Pink.

I'm usually not so matchy-matchy

but had to make this quilt in Navy and hot Pink. 

 

 

 

This quilt pattern was well written and went together

so quickly.

I see another one of these in my future!

 

 

 

 

 

Jennifer at Peaceful Quilting Studios

did a beautiful job quilting it.

I just couldn't come up with a plan.

 

 

 This backing fabric was perfect for this quilt.

AND it was on clearance!!

Bubbles and Dots

 This must be the year for pulling out fabrics

from my stash and finally using them.

I have had this piece of "Effervescence" in my cabinet

for several years and just didn't know what to make with it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

I wanted something that would show all of the fun colors

in the piece and not be overwhelming.

 

 

 Then I thought of this design.

 

 

 

 

The Effervescence fabric paired with Tula Pinks gray Hexies and solids

is so fun!

I just had to purchase a few of the solid fabrics to make these blocks.

There will be two more rows of blocks added to the top and bottom

and it will be finished.

Once the other blocks are made, things will be rearranged a bit.

Bubbles and Dots and bright colors make my heart sing.

Elf Ornaments

 Over the years I have made a number of 

mmmcrafts felt ornaments and have loved the process.

Larissa's patterns are so well written and easy to follow.

Some of them are not for beginners, but her detailed patterns

makes them so much easier to make. 

Larissa has a few series of ornaments

and one is "Twas the Night".

A few years ago I had made Mr. and Mrs. Claus,

but that was all I had done.

This year is the year to catch up... I hope!

Things were prepped for the Boy Elf and Girl Elf ornaments.

I'm making two sets... one for me and one for my littles.

 

 

 

The littles ornaments are finished!!

 

 

 

 

 

  

 

 

The most difficult thing for me is painting the faces and hair

on the beads.  These aren't too bad for my abilities!

These will be put away for Christmas,

 

The second set is prepped and construction has begun.

 

 

 

 

 

There are two more ornaments in this series,

so more playing with felt will be in my future.

Ocean Path Finished

 This quilt came back from

Jennifer at Peaceful Hill Quilting

and has been bound.

All it needs now is the label.

 

 

 

 

I really enjoy sewing curved blocks

and making this design.

 

These fabrics have been in my stash for quite some time.

It's good to have them made into a quilt.
