For the first time in YEARS
I do not have a large quilt in progress.
This will have to be remedied soon!
:)
This week I have Ornaments on my Design Wall.
I realized that the Bazaar my church is having
this fall is only a month and a half away!
I need to get going!!
So this is what I have been working on this weekend....
The binding needs to be stitched down on the back,
a little hand quilting will be done
and bows will added to the front of these
wreath ornaments.
(The binding is pinned and ready to stitch...
makes for some bumpy looking ornaments.)
These trees need to be quilted,
have beads added,
and then bound.
Hopefully in the next few days these will be finished
and I'll move to the next item on my
Bazaar list....
Santa ornaments
and
Pot holders!
Please visit Patchwork Times to see what others
are creating.
Happy Quilting!
How does Christmas sneak up on us so quick? Seems like last week I was planning Easter dinner. Remember being a kid and these holidays took forever to get here? Now I wish time would slow down so I can catch up. Your little ornaments look very tiny and cute, how big are they?
ReplyDeleteThose pine trees just strike my fancy. They are lovely.
ReplyDeleteI really like the pine trees!
ReplyDeleteI made ornaments for all the library staff and trustees, which meant that I had to come up with a design that I not only liked but that I also could make in quantity quickly. A joy of retirement is that I don't need to do that this year. But if I did....those pine trees would fill the bill.
can't wait to see your Santa ornaments
ReplyDeleteLove your ornaments! Yes, I agree: Christmas is sneaking up real quickly...
ReplyDeleteHope all those cute ornaments sell well at the bazaar. Like those pine trees too.
